Theodore "Ted" B. Block, 93 year old resident of Hillman, MN passed away September 16, 2017 at Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia, MN. Theodore was born on March 17, 1924 in Lastrup, MN to Bernard and Adelhied (Schommer) Block. On September 3, 1951 he was united in marriage to Marie Gross at Holy Family Catholic Church in Bulldog Lake, MN. The couple made their home on a farm in Richardson Township, where they raised their family. Ted enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and socializing with family & friends. He will be remembered for the caring and kindness he showed to everyone who crossed his path.
Ted is survived by his children, Roger (Sandy) Block of Hillman, MN, Audrey Johnson of Burnsville, MN, Terry (David) Barnhart of Belgrade, MT, Julie Rowcliffe of Osage, IA, Carol (Dan) Bleichner of Hillman, MN; Ronald (fianc, Carrie Aydt) Block of Hillman, MN; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and 5 sisters

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Friday, September 22 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Bulldog Lake, MN. A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday evening at the church, and one hour prior to the service also at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
