Patricia Anne (Patti) Rossiter of Malvern Patti Rossiter, Republican Committeewoman, age 79 of Malvern, PA died on Monday September 18, 2017 at her home in Malvern. Patti was born on October 7, 1937, daughter of Neal P. and Ann D. Campbell, in Broomall and attended grade school and junior high school there. She participated in the Tri-Community Drum and Bugle Corps. She graduated from Tredyffrin-Easttown High School in 1955. Later she took courses at Immaculata College. After high school she worked at WCAU-TV. She was married to the late Robert W. Rossiter in 1958 and lived in Frankfurt, Germany for two years where he was in the Army. Patti lived in Malvern Borough since 1952 and was very active in the community. She taught Sunday school at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, was a member of the League of Women Voters, the Council of Republican Committeewoman in Malvern since 2006, succeeding her good friend the late Elizabeth Burke, longtime Malvern Committeewoman. Pattie was also Treasurer of Malvern Parks and Recreation, and a member of the Malvern Junior Women’s Club. She was also on the Reunion Committee for Tredyffrin-Easttown High School Class of 1955. For four years Patti worked as Secretary to the Dean of Students of Immaculata College. Later Patti worked for the HR Department of the County of Chester for 23 years where she supervised records and prepared the Salary Board Agenda for the Commissioners. She enjoyed traveling to her extended family’s reunions held in Iowa. Her hobbies were gardening, travel to the West Coast, Europe and Hawaii, entertaining and participating in politics. She made it her goal to know everyone in Malvern and help them know about, and participate in, their local government. Former Chester County Commissioner and Senator Earl Baker said “No one could work harder than Patti Rossiter. She was dedicated, conscientious and fun to be with. Malvern will miss her greatly.” Patti is survived by her son Steve. Family and friends are invited to Patti’s viewing on Thursday evening September 21, 2017 from 7:00-9:00pm at the Mauger Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355. A funeral service will be held on Friday September 22, 2017 at 10:00am at The Church of the Good Samaritan, 212 West Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Patti’s name to either The Church of the Good Samaritan or to the Malvern Fire Company. www.maugergivnish.com
