Elizabeth Jones Nichols, age 86, of Bluff City, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was born May 26, 1931 a daughter of the late Ed and Anna Mae Rush Jones.
She lived in the greater Bristol area, most of her life, but had lived in Chattanooga, for the past eight years. Mrs. Nichols was a former member of Fellowship Baptist Church, in Bluff City, and was more recently a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, in the greater Chattanooga area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Nichols and siblings.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Nichols and wife Susan, granddaughter, Amanda Antonacci and husband Tyler, and grandson, Andrew Nichols.
The funeral service for Mrs. Nichols will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at the graveside, in Crumley Cemetery with Pastor Scott Watson and Rev. Garry Cole officiating. Friends and family may call anytime, at the home of Jim and Frances Nichols, 570 Weaver Creek Rd., Bluff City, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crumley Cemetery Association, c/o Sharon Greene, 439 Old Weaver Pike, Bluff City, TN 37618.
