Harold Farthing Nichols, age 77, of Bluff City, TN passed away on January 31, 2008.
He was born in Sullivan County a son to the late John Andrew and Dottie Green Nichols and was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County.
Mr. Nichols retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Duard and Stuart.
Survivors include: Wife of 53 years – Elizabeth Jones Nichols
Son – John Kevin Nichols and wife Susan
Grandchildren – Amanda and Andrew Nichols
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 8 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church in Bluff City with Rev. Scott Watson and Rev. Garry Cole officiating.
Committal services will be held on Sunday at 2 pm at Crumley Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Jim Nichols, Paul Nichols, Elbert Nichols, Robert Nichols, Darrell Chambers, Cecil Bryant, Eric Jenkins, J. D. Morrell.
Honorary pallbearers include: Bob Smith, Jimmy Simpson, Guy Metcalf, Kurt Dibble, David Parker, Mark Price, and Charlie Bales.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-7:45 pm prior to the service at Fellowship Baptist.
