Death of Dr. M. J. Gahan
His many friends in this city were pained to hear yesterday of the death of Dr. M. J. Gahan, of Omaha, formerly of Grand Island. The Bee reports the death as follows:
"Dr. M. J. Gahan, whose death occurred Saturday at the Omaha General Hospital, will be buried in Grand Island, his former home. Religious services will be held at 2:30 this afternoon by Rev. T. J. Mackay at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank H. Myers, 701 South Thirty-seventh street, and Mrs. Myers will take the body to Grand Island on the Burlington train leaving Omaha at 4:10 today. At Grand Island the Masons will have charge of the funeral ceremonies."
