2. Philip Dever Stephens 1812-1877 He married Sarah Matilda Howard on Aug 6, 1839 in Morgan, MO. They had 12 children. Sarah passed away on Jan 18, 1865 , at the age of 44 , from typhoid Fever at Idaho City. ID .
Philip remarried again when he return to MO. To Mary Catherine Smith on Jul 8, 1868 in Tipton, MO

2. John Brantley Stephens born on feb 1846 and died on 1935 in Booneville, MO. He was a farmer. He married Melinda Emma Morris on 1875, She was born on Jul 2, 1850 and died on Feb 17, 1935 in Booneville, MO They had several children. Cora Alice Stephens 1875-1915 , Alpha Stephens 1878 , He was in the service in the USMC as a private. Ethel M Stephens 1882-198 7 She was 104 year old when she passed away.
