Vanceburg, Ky. - Services for Mrs. Lena Dummitt Crawford, 92, of Vanceburg Rt. 7, are to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thacker's Chapel Christian Church, of which she was a member.
A native of Vanceburg, Mrs. Crawford died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mercy Hospital in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her husband, Rowland Crawford, in 1963, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edith Stricklett and Mrs. Blanche Rose, both of Louisville, and Mrs. Gladys Summerfield of Fayetteville, W.Va.; seven sons, Ralph and Jack, both of Vanceburg Rt. 7, Raymond of Okeechobee, Fla., Herbert of Fairborn, Ohio, William of Bucyrus, Ohio, Harlan of Homestead, Fla., and Carl of West Palm Beach, Fla.; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Johnny Sparks, minister, is to officiate at services. Burial is to be in the Crawford Family Cemetery.
Friends may call at Plummer Funeral Home here from 6 to 9 tonight. The body is to be lie in state at the church for an hour before services.
