Lemma Reynolds Davis, 99, of Danville, died September 5, 2017, at Sovah Health. She was born March 10, 1918, in Pittsylvania County, to Ella Jackson Reynolds and Linwood Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her husband William H. “Buck” Davis, Sr. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra D. Short (Bobby); her sons, William H. Davis, Jr. and Steven L. Davis; a sister, Hazel Gregory; eight grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by her sisters, Rebecca Adkerson, Frances Hudson, Mary Flanagan, Bessie Crane, and Ruby Hutson; brothers, Doug Reynolds, Thurman Reynolds, Jerry Reynolds, Beverly Reynolds, Linwood Reynolds, Beacham Reynolds, and Dale Reynolds.
Burial will be in Highland Burial Park.
