DOYLINE, LA - Janet Watson, 81, was born to parents, Douglas and Harriet Christie, on June 17, 1936, in Yonkers, N.Y., and left this earthly life behind on the morning of September 5, 2017. She retired from International Paper after many years as a secretary, thoroughly enjoyed working in her flower garden, and loved watching the hummingbirds.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Watson; her parents and one sister. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brent Bunnenberg, and Brenda Christie Boozer; step-children, Jerry Lee Watson, Randy Watson and wife Corinda, and Donna Anderson and husband William; grandchildren, Dawn Paonessa, John Joseph Paonessa, Lawrence Boozer, and Amanda Bunnenberg Davis; step-grandchildren, Jeremy Watson and wife Melissa, Zachary Watson, Peighton Watson, Christina Albritton and husband Cody, Jake Anderson, Shellby Walker and husband Kyler, and Josh Anderson; and many great-grandchildren.
Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.
