Ann Audrey Bell Demott, 85 of Moultrie, Ga. died Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Cobblestone Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Demott was affectionately known by her family and friends as "Dinky".

Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday 9, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Moultrie with the Rev. Julian Griner, the Rev. Wayne Woods and Mr. Charles Richard "Dicky" Demott officiating.

Born April 12, 1932 in Ft. Valley, Ga., she was the daughter of the late J.E. Bell and Eathrie Barfield Bell.

Mrs. Demott retired from Colquitt County High School as the manager of the cafeteria and was a member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie for over seventy years. She was a faithful friend and beloved relative who always put others before herself.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ronald "Billy" Demott; son, Ralph Allen Demott; daughter, Gail Ann Demott; two brothers, J. Ed Bell and Ben Bell.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Gus Demott and Leigh of Clinton, S.C.; daughter, Julia Lurline Emerick and Mark of Moultrie, GA.; three granddaughters, Maggie Hope Demott, Katie Alyse Demott Scherger and Mollie Blair Demott; grandson, Joshua Lee Bennett.
