COLEBROOK – STUART – Anne J. Stuart passed away on September 5, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late James M. Stuart, III, for 60 years. Born June 14, 1923 in New Britain, CT; the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kumetis.

In her early years, she worked at Stanley Tool in New Britain. We have fond memories of her enjoying time with her pets and at beaches like Hammonaset and Misquamicut. Her greatest times were summers with her husband, relaxing on the beaches and browsing the flea markets of Cape Cod, MA.

She is survived by two sons, Jay Stuart of Lawrenceburg, TN and Mark Stuart of Fayetteville, TN; two grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by the Kumetis family of New Britain.
Funeral will be private for family and close friends only. There will be no calling hours.

Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain.
