He was born on March 26, 1944 in Granite City, IL to the late Franz & Anabel (Dixon) Hahn.
Norman is survived by: 4 children; Melissa (Clint) Hummel of Granite City, IL, Michelle (Leif) Froyen of Issaguah, WA, Norman David Hahn and Brian Hahn, both of Madison, IL, two grandchildren: Jessica (Jeff) Puder of St. Louis, MO. Jennifer (Abi) Antele of Merryville, IL, a great-grandson, Lias Antele and a sister, Hester S. (LeRoy Madison) Hahn of Collinsville, IL.
He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Franz J. Hahn JR., Frank Murphy and a sister Jeanne Deckard.
A private family service will be held at a later date in Illinois.
Norman proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He worked in the maintenance department for a Satellite Corporation. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing cards.
Memorial donations may be given to any V.F.W of the donors choice.
