She married Henry George Chowen on 4 Dec 1912 in Lansford, Bottineau Co., ND. They emigrated to Alberta, Canada about 1915, and about 1920 moved on the Prince Edward Island, Canada, where they remained until their deaths.
Henry died 13 Oct 1958 in Rose Valley, P.E.I. Clara died 8 Oct 1972 in Montague, P.E.I. at the age of 80 yrs. and 5 days. The couple were laid to rest in Floral Hills Cemetery, Point Pleasant, P.E.I., Canada
Clara was survived by her children: Sadie (Albert) Wood of Montague, P.E.I., Ella (Aubrey) Clarke of Scarborough, Ontario, Alice (Angus) Martin of Montague, Lucile (Laurie) Smith of Baton Rouge, LA, Evangeline (Charles) Nicholson of North Bay, Ontario, Daniel (Mildred) Chowen of Summerside, P.E.I., & Marilyn Chowen of P.E.I.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and an infant son, Loyal George Chowen, who was born & died in Jun 1929.
