She was the former Mary L. Bird and a native of Brownsville, KY. She was a retired employee of the Philip Morris Company in Louisville and a member of the Bonnie Sloan Post #28 American Legion in New Albany, the Order of Eastern Star and Central Christian Church in New Albany.
Survivors include her two daughters, two brothers, and two grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, with burial in Highland Memory Garden in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 11 a.m. Thursday.
