Patches.. My pure white flawless beautiful Shih Tzu 'fur baby' had such a loving-gentle heart. From a tiny little puppy, he let you know that he loved being held, laying his head on your shoulder. When his son was born it was apparent that Charmer had 'completed him', and from that moment on life couldn't have been better for Patches. He was constantly licking, kissing and wrestling with Charmer, letting him gobble up all of his food, and treats! I've never seen a little dog with so much love and patience as Patches had for Charmer!! They were like two 'peas-in-a-pod,' inseparable, plotting out their next scheme..
Now, Charmer wanders off to wait by the front door, thinking maybe his daddy will come home! Truthfully, I have no idea if Charmer knew that Patches was his daddy, but I do know that they had a bond like no other. Patches was more than 'just a little dog' to both of us and our lives will never be the same without him.. I know to some it may sound silly, but it's been over five years and we still miss the little guy!! :-(
Charmer is now 17 years old and has been on heart medicine for well over a year. He's getting old and feeble and not as stable on his feet as he once was!
Charmer passed away on February 17, 2023. He was just a little over 18 years old. Memorial #: 250735383

Now, Charmer wanders off to wait by the front door, thinking maybe his daddy will come home! Truthfully, I have no idea if Charmer knew that Patches was his daddy, but I do know that they had a bond like no other. Patches was more than 'just a little dog' to both of us and our lives will never be the same without him.. I know to some it may sound silly, but it's been over five years and we still miss the little guy!! :-(
