Aaron Edward Yazzie was born on Wednesday; August 16, 1967 in Portage; Columbia County, Wisconsin. Aaron was the son of Harry Yazzie and Georgia Lonetree. He graduated from Monument Valley High School in Kayenta; Navajo County, Arizona and worked for many years as a plumber. He also served his country in the U.S. Army and had been overseas in Germany. Aaron Edward Yazzie, 39, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away on Friday; February 9, 2007 in Madison; Dane County, Wisconsin. Those left to mourn his passing are his daughters, Brittany Erin and Nicole Rain Yazzie; mother, Georgia Lonetree; fathers, James Yazzie of Waterflow, New Mexico and Freddie Yazzie of Many Farms, Arizona; brothers, Stuart Lonetree of Baraboo, Wisconsin, Vincent Lonetree of Gallup, New Mexico, Jeffery O. Lonetree and Boyd Lonetree both of Wisconsin Dells, Lukas Lonetree and Eric Lonetree both of Van Buren, Arkansas; sisters, Lucinda Lonetree, Michelle Funmaker, And Dawn Joy Funmaker all of Wisconsin Dells, Toni Funmaker of Reedsburg Wisconsin, Sherry Gray of Avondale, Arizona, Janine Lonetree of Mauston, Wisconsin and Tracey Lonetree of Lake Delton, Wisconsin, Jill Adair of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Lindsey Windy Boy of Billings, Montana; nephew, Paul Roberts, Jr. as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and relatives, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry F. Yazzie; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Mary Yazzie; maternal grandparents, Edward Sr. and Minnie Lonetree; and a brother, Steven Lonetree. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be held at the Native American Church on Sunday; February 11, 2007 beginning at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday; February 12, 2007 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Native American Church in Wisconsin Dells with Truman Williams, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells; Columbia County, Wisconsin.
