Dennis Webb, 66, of Edgemont, died Jan. 16, 1999, at the Hot Springs Veterans Administration Hospital in Hot Springs, S. D. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, at the Assembly of God Church in Minatare, with the Rev. Dwight Sandoz officiating. At Donalds' request, his body was donated to science. Isburg-McColley's Chapels of the Hills in Hot Springs is in charge of arrangements.
He was born March 17, 1932, to Harvey and Bennie (Barentine) Webb in Shady Point, Okla. He moved with his family to the Scottsbluff area of Nebraska. He was raised and attended school in different communities of Nebraska, before entering the United States Army in 1948. He worked at various jobs in Nebraska, before moving to Edgemont in 1992, where he worked as a cook before ill-health forced his retirement. He loved to hunt and fish, and was a member of the Odd Fellows Association of Edgemont.
He is survived by three daughters, Fayda Weaver of Minatare, Denise Webb and her fiance Brian Seals of St. Joseph, Mo., and Jody Webb of Douglas, Wyo; three grandchildren Holly, Amber, and Josh Weaver of Minatare.; three sisters, Edna Cook of Scottsbluff, Dorothy Miller of Scottsbluff, and Ollie Webb of Omaha; five brothers, John Webb and his wife Margarette of Scottsbluff, Albert Webb of Dix, Harold Webb and his wife Jean of Morrill, Utah Webb of Torrington, Wyo., and Eldon Webb of Scottsbluff, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, and two brothers. ###
