ERNEST CONNER, 89, formerly of Harding Road, died Monday at Roger Williams Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Constance (Cummings) Conner.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Arthur E. and Emily (France) Conner, he lived in Warwick for 45 years. He previously lived in Cranston.
Mr. Conner was an assistant vice president and branch manager of the Hoxie branch of Old Stone Bank for 44 years before retiring in 1969.
He was formerly treasurer of the Potowomut Golf Club, a former member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, East Greenwich, and a member of the American Institute of Banking.
He is survived by two daughters, a sister, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was brother of the late Arthur, Delbert, and Lloyd G. Conner.
