ATLANTA - Atlanta homicide detective C. R. Price says he never gives up on solving cases. His optimism was rewarded late last week when police charged Levi Roy Bradley with the 12-year-old slaying of Patricia Jernigan.
Miss Jernigan, 20, was found strangled, face-down in her bathtub filled with water on July 29, 1978. Modern technology provided enough evidence to charge Bradley, "now serving two consecutive life sentences for the 1983 rape and murder of a suburban Atlanta teenager, with the case." Price said Saturday.
