Teresa A. “Terri” Roberts, 66, of Strasburg Township, died while under the care of Hospice & Community Care on Saturday, August 19, 2017, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Charles “Chuck” Roberts, III, for 47 years.

Terri was graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School, class of 1969. She was a member of Living Faith Church of God.

She worked over 20 years for Sight & Sound Ministries, managing their food and merchandise programs. Terri became a motivational speaker after events that changed lives forever.

And as a homemaker, she dearly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Terri enjoyed dinners and time at the beach and the mountains.

Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Harry K. Neustadter and Teresa (Haldeman) Neustadter of Strasburg. In addition to Chuck she is survived by three sons, Josh married to Keturah Roberts of Ephrata, Zachary married to Karin Roberts of Stockholm, Sweden and Jonathan married to Megan Roberts of Mt. Joy; a daughter-in-law, Marie married to Dan Monville of Lampeter; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Jean married to Randy Hildebrand of Strasburg and a brother, Joe married to Barb Neustadter of Strasburg.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Roberts, IV.

“In my life, what has always given me strength, through cancer and trials and tragedy, is my first resource, my Lord, my God and His holy work. It is not without pain that I leave all of those whom I love so dearly. So, when the time comes, it is not outweighed by the joy of seeing my Savior. No ‘Poor Terri’ in going through 15 years of the trials of cancer and suffering. With each challenge in our married lives, we have become stronger and developed new relationships that may otherwise have never been. I count my blessings. I look at my life as one fulfilled with hope and joy, appreciation for husband, family and friends who have prayed me through, and have stayed by my side. Everyone’s life is worth living until the Lord takes them home.”

There will be a Celebration of Terri’s Life on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Private interment at the convenience of the family.

Kindly omit flowers. Please consider sending a contribution in Terri’s memory to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA
