John T. Durant (Doran), native of Canada and a resident of Cohoes for sixty years, died Saturday night at his home, 23 Columbia Street, Cohoes, after a brief illness. He had been an employee of the Roff Knitting Mills, Cohoes, for several years. He attended St Joseph's Church and was a member of the Union of Prayer and St. Joseph's Society. He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Jacques; two brothers, Joseph Durant of Harrison, N. J., and Victor, of Cohoes, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the residence and at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, where a solemn requiem mass will be sung. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
