Cynthia Calvert Parker, 66, of Danville, died August 19, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Danville, on September 9, 1950, daughter of Robert Henry Calvert and Sarah Carter Calvert.
Mrs. Parker was a Teacher in the Danville Public School system and retired after 33 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Randall Parker; two daughters, Laura P. Johnson (Brantley) and Katie Parker; a brother, Bobby Calvert; two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
