Elvin L. NORTH "Al' passed away May 23, 2011 at the age of 93. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Rose. Though a man of many experiences, he was most proud of his service aboard the U.S.S. Washington through all the major battles in the Pacific, and his hole in one at Jefferson Park golf course. He is survived by a brother, Robert, sister Rosemary, son James Ballo (Carolyn,) two granddaugh ters and two great grandsons. The family wishes to thank the staff of Emeritus at Silverlake and Provi dence Hospice of Snohomish County for their loving care. A private family service is planned.
