Early Life: Kent was born November 2, 1944, in American Fork, Utah, to Alma Evan "Perk" and Leah Deane Stewart. He graduated from Orem High School in 1962.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Kent was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a great love of all sports and excelled in baseball, at pitching. He loved all things outdoors including: hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Golfing became one of his greatest joys which he shared with his father, brother, children, grandchildren and friends. He also inherited a green thumb from his father and was well-known for his tomatoes, roses and beautiful yard. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them grow. Kent was an employee for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) where he retired after 42 years as a construction technician. He believed in working hard and there are very few state roads in Utah that he wasn't a part of constructing. Kent S. Stewart passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 17, 2017, in Orem, Utah. He was 72.
Survived By: His wife, LeAnn Stubbs Stewart; three children: Jeff (Darcy) Stewart, of Troutdale, OR; Jordan (Darin) Hardy, of Hinckley, UT; Glenn (Jessica) Stewart, of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
