Daughter of Thomas John Taylor and Sarah Hartshorne, daughter of Richard Hartshorne & Margaret Carr.

Married John Stout in 1731, New Jersey. Source: U.S. and International Marriage Records. John was son of Richard Stout Esq. (1678-1749) and Ester Tillman (1678-1702), who owned 200 acres in Monmouth County and was a militia captain. His memorial # 112226156. (not linked) His grandfather was John Stout (1645-1724) m. Elizabeth Crawford. Their memorial # 112225602 & 112225364. His great grandfather was Richard Stout (1622-1732) m. Penelope Van Princis 1622-1732. Their memorial 45166321 & 6082496.

1. John Stout b. Sept 12, 1732, d. March 9, 1758 (Age 25 y) possibly m. Dorothy White, their son Joseph Stout 1752-1807 m. Sarah Hancock and had ten kids (not sourced): Mary b. 1773, Joseph b. 1775, Dorothy b. 1778, Pearson b. 1750, Rebecca (1) b. 1732 died infant, Sarah b. 1784, Edward b. 1839, Daniel b. 1788, Rebecca (2) b. 1791, and John Merrick b. 1749. His daughter Mary Stout 1753-1842, was bequeathed 20 shillings a year for the remainder of her life. She married 1798, to Peter Hickman.
2. Mary Stout b. 1749, possibly unmarried. Listed in mother's will as co-executor and receiving all cattle, livestock, grain, farming utensils and one third household furniture, one fifth of residue from sale of plantation.
3. Helena Stout 1734-1816 m. John Hoff 1737-1818, son of William Hoff. Bequeathed in mother's will one fifth of residue from sale of plantation. Their kids include: Leonard Huff who was killed at Middletown Point, May 23, 1779, aged 19, in Revolutionary War. 2) Helena 1804-1849 m. Daniel Dunbar Walling 1761-1851. memorial: 90092230. Notes from family Bio's suggest other; John (Hoff), William, Thomas, Christian, Margaret & Elizabeth.
4. Lydia b. April 4 1737, died as infant in 1737.
5. Richard Stout b. Oct 10, 1738 died June 1, 1759 at age 30.
6. Sarah Stout b. Feb 14, 1742 married on May 15, 1766 to John Pearson. Bequeathed in mother's will one fifth of residue from sale of plantation.
7. Thomas Stout b. April 13, 1741 d. May 13, 1806 in Middletown. Married 10-21-1769 to (Catherine) Deborah Cooper. He received land at Shoal Harbor on Compton's Creek & meadow land from his mother's will & served as Co-Executor. His will proved May 26, 1806. Their kids: Deborah 1770-1803, John Stout 1773-1803 (memorial # 100135068) m. Martha Bedel , Hope 1776-1825, Margaret (Carroll) 1778-1841 memorial # 186873214 buried at Wall Family Burial Grounds (no link), Richard 1781-1828, Thomas T. 1785-1871, memorial # 186455033, buried Wall Family Burial Grounds, (no link) and Helena (no dates).
8. Joseph Lippit Stout b. Nov 24, 1746 & d. 1798, m. Jane Middlemas. Their daughter Peggy Stout b.1787-died as infant and buried in her grandfather, John Stout's grave, evidenced by inscription on stone. Joseph received other half of Property and two lots in Perth Amboy from his mother's will.
9. Catherine (Catalina) Stout b. March 9, 1752 d. April 11, 1840. Married George Yard (1755-1837) who served in Revolutionary War. Four of their kids are linked: Benjamin, Margarett, John & Elizabeth. Catalina received one third household furniture and one fifth sale of plantation from mother's will.
10. William Stout 1755-1797, possibly unmarried and lived in Nottingham twp, Burlington County, N.J. His will proved Jan 13, 1800. He received $550 from mother's will.
11. Ann Stout b. 1755-?, m. 3-6-1778 to William West (1750-?) She received one third household furniture and one fifth residue from sale of plantation from mother's will.
