Fred Rex, 40, native of this community, died last Saturday in a Chicago hospital of injuries sustained in a fall down an elevator shaft Dec. 2 in the Shapiro Fisheries, where he was employed. He was the son of Robert and Dora A. (Baer) Rex. Survivors are the father, a sister, Mrs. Florence Mitchell, Lafayette, and a brother, Paul Rex, Chicago. The body was brought to Frankfort, where services were held Thursday. Burial was in Bunnell cemetery.
