October 13, 1946 - August 4, 2017 Eva Jo Casey, age 70, of Oxford, OH passed away at McCullough-Hyde Hospital on Friday, August 4, 2017. She was born October 13, 1946 in Oxford, OH to Joseph and Eva (Brinegar) Owens. Eva Jo was as a lifetime resident of Oxford.
She was well known in the Oxford community and she never met a stranger. She had a love of life and always had a smile on her face. Eva Jo loved her family and her precious dogs with all of her heart.
She is survived by her sister Betty Webb of Hamilton, OH; brothers Ralph (Buster) Owens and his wife Shelley of Jacksonburg, OH and John (Butch) Owens and his wife Patti of Fullerton, CA; by special nieces DeeDee Bruns and Leanne George, as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Eva Jo married Tim Casey in Oxford, OH in 1974 and they shared 35 years together. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tim Casey, her son Joseph Owens and brother-in-law Herman (Shag) Webb as well as her beloved dogs, Charlies 1 thru 3 and BearBear.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pristine Senior Living for their loving care of Eva Jo through the last few years.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 19th, 11:00 am at Somerville Community Church, 207 Walnut St., Somerville, OH 45064, with Pastor Mark Crary officiating
