Cecil Bailey, Sr., 80, of Waco, passed away with his daughter at his side, August 3, 2017.

Graveside Service: 12:00PM, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at The Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195, Killeen, Texas 76542.

Cecil was born September 5, 1936 in Hubbard, Texas. After his schooling, Cecil joined the United States Army and served his country honorably from 1959 to 1961. During his service he worked as a mechanic on the big equipment and later after being discharged, worked as a mechanic. He also drove a truck for, Jimmy Dean Sausage, for many years. Cecil enjoyed spending time with family, and when he could enjoyed going fishing and crabbing. Cecil was a great dancer and loved dancing to the old country western tunes.

Cecil is survived by his children, Cecil Bailey, Jr. and wife, Monica and Ellen Bailey; four grandchildren, Stephen Seth Bailey, Tabatha Bailey, Hope Victoria Blocker, Darren Chase Yocom; three siblings, Ruth Nichols and husband, Mike, Mary Underwood, Mabel Stafford, and Kenneth Bailey; two great-grandchildren, Caiden Blocker and Adeline Marie Yocom; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
