Jay W. Schultes, 79, of 37 Fourth Street, Deposit, died suddenly at his home Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna M. Schultes; four daughters, Mrs. Harriet Hoyt of Delhi, Mrs. Letha Applegate of Center Village, Mrs. Susan Palmatier of Cannonsville and Mrs. Estella Dietrich of Balnbridge; four sons, Jay, Jr.. of Balnbridge, Dwight, of Mt. Upton, Niven, of Afton, and Svlvester. of Sidney; a _slster, Mrs. June Boice of Loomis Brook; 33 grandchildren. 11 great-grand-children and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Walter A. Dalnes Funeral Home, 78 Second Street, Deposit. Funeral services' will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. John C. Cook of Deposit will officiate. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery at convenience of the family. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening.
