Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon for Harold C. Schultes, 38, at the Lyon Brothers Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Frank A. Lathom pastor of the First Reformed Presbyterian Church, Walton, officiated. Burial was in the Walton Cemetery.

Mr. Schultes died on Friday evening after an illness of several months. He was born in the Town of Thompkins, Delaware County, on July 26, 1912, son of Jay and Mary (Eggleston) Schultes. He married the former Elsie Reynolds on Feb. 26, 1938.

Survivors are his wife, Elsie R. Schultes; two daughters, Katherine Schultes and Anna Mary Schultes, Cleaver; a son, Charles Schultes, Cleaver; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Schultes, Deposit; brother, Dwight Schultes, Rockhale; three half-brothers, Sylvester Schultes, in service, Jay Schultes, in service, and Mirven Schltes, Afton; four half-sisters, Mrs. Harriett Hoyt, Walton, Mrs. Susan Palmatier, Masonville, Mrs. Stella Diedrich, Bainbridge, and Mrs. Letha Applegate, Center Village.
