NOTE: Some of this following information has not been documented. I know about the connections because Flavel's daughter, Abigail, passed the family information on to her niece (my grandmother) Nina (Daniells) Woodward in the early 1920's. I received it from Nina's daughter, Patricia (Woodward) Hayes, in 2007. Patricia, my aunt, requested that I research our Woodward family tree. - Rebecca Boardman

Flavel is the son of John Woodward and Sarah "Sally" Galloway. He married Polly Reynolds in about 1827. This list of their children does not include a name for their first born daughter, who died very young. Their daughter Abigail provided the list and she did not include this first born sister. The sister is on the 1830 census with Abigail, who is 6 months old. It must be concluded that the first born daughter died within the next year or two, when Abigail was to young to remember her.

Their children:
Unknown daughter, Abigail J, George W, Sarah Ann, Mary O, John, Caroline A "Carrie", William M.
