Services for Hollis Edison King, 63, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Walters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. he family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Memorials made be made to the Providence Hospital Heart Fund of Columbia or the First Baptist Church building fund.

Mr. King died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1992. Born in Brunswick County, N.C., he was a son of the late William Hardee and Mary Lee King. He was a Korean War Army Veteran and was employed with the maintenance of way department of the Seaboard Coastline Railroad, formerly Atlantic Coastline Railroad. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Hampton Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Lois Anderson King; sons, Hollis "Eddie" King Jr. of Columbia and David King of Florence; sisters, Sarah Little of Elizabeth, N.C., Lois Rabon of Winnsboro, N.C., and Ann Byrd, Margot Richardson and Eula Mae Potter, all of Wilmington, N.C.; and one grandson.
