Adine Irons, 75, of Snyder, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Mrs. Irons was a native of Ashley County and a life long resident of the Trafalgar Community north of Snyder. She worked the UAM Daycare and Wells Lamont Glove Factory for many years. She was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Denise “Sissy” Irons in 2005; her parents, Walter and Laura Ellingburg Bates; two brothers, Robert & Dewitt Bates and two sisters, Dorothy Bates Finley and Beulah Bates Gates.

She is survived by her former husband, Junior Irons of Snyder; a son, Toby Irons and wife, Amanda, of Lake Village; a sister, Gladys Bates Pryor of Monticello; seven grandchildren, Crystal Barnett Brown, Brandon Knight, Denishia (Amber) Oliver, Michael Irons, Patrick Irons, Paden Irons and Lilly Irons and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Sardis Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in the Trafalgar Cemetery. Pallbearers are Cindy Smart, Lindy Baker, Ben Wood, Grayson Sanders, Preston Sanderlin, Thomas Minga, Brian Morris and Chad Bucket.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
