Carpenter Family
Hi, Larry:
While I was browsing Fannin County TX records, I found, and ordered, records related to the sons of Johnson Bassham and Malvina Carpenter Bassham. Zephaniah (Zeph) Bassham died 15 March, 1897 and James Johnson died 9 Nov 1892.

The Bassham's other son, Luther, lived beyond the rest of his family. I am still operating on the THEORY that Luther ended up living his life as my great grandfather, David R. 'Doc' Stephens. I have a lot of DNA evidence and am continuing to work on the paper trail.
