KOUTS -- Lucille H. Jarnecke, 94, of county roads 820 South and 500 East, died at 4 p.m. Saturday in her home. Mrs. Jarnecke was born March 29, 1896, in Kouts. On June 29, 1916, in Valparaiso, she married John G. Jarnecke. He died in 1971. Surviving are three sons, Leland, Harold and Jack, all of Kouts; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Royal Neighbors Lodge.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kosanke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Porter County Cancer Society.
