Virginia A. Weltmer, 84, of Decatur died 6:49 p.m. Monday (June 9, 2003) in Lincoln Manor North.
Mrs. Weltmer was born March 11, 1919, in Macon County, the daughter of Lewis and Lillie Mae Wright Kopp.
She married Robert Leroy Weltmer on Aug. 15, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1991.
She was a homemaker and a member of Christian Fellowship and Sweet Adeline's for many years.
Surviving are two sons, a daughter, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Joyce; grandchildren, Johnny, Danny and Joey; sisters, Blance Banning and Ruth Conway; brothers, Cecil, Orlan and Earl Kopp.
Services was 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2003 in Dawson & Wikoff Colonial Chapel North. Visitation was one hour before services. Burial was in Garver Cemetery, Oreana.
