Robert Eugene Kimble, age 83, passed away August 2, 2017 at Houston Methodist Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born November 29, 1933 in Steubenville, Ohio to Lloyd and Mary (Campbell) Kimble. Mr. Kimble earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University, and remained an avid Buckeye fan for life. He retired from British Petroleum as the U.S. Terminals and Distribution Director. His greatest passions were his family, travel and above all sailing. He was a member of Houston Yacht Club and sailed the East Coast of the U.S. to Texas, and throughout the Caribbean and Bahamas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crockett, Broken Sound Club, Boca Raton, FL, and a past member of the Crockett Lions Club.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sheila (McConnell) Kimble and daughter, M. Susan Spangler.

He will be lovingly remember by his wife, Charlotte and children.
