SOLON - Maxine S. Peters, 73, passed peacefully surrounded by love on Tuesday Aug. 1, 2017. She was born April 20, 1944, the daughter of Archie L. Witham and Etta M. House. Maxine graduated from Williams High School in Oakland in 1962
She was employed previously by Diamond Match Co. and Cascade Woolen Mill before getting her nursing degree in 1989. She was a traveling nurse through Assistance Plus before retiring from Ursuline Sisters Convent in 2012.
Maxine married Clarence Furbush on June 1, 1962 and Percy T. Peters on Aug. 1, 1987.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husbands, Clarence J. Furbush Sr.and Percy Peters, brothers Roger, Royce, Maurice, Lloyd and Leslie, sisters, Arlene, Doris and Kathy. Maxine was also predeceased by her blessed daughter Angel.
Maxine will be deeply missed by her fiance, Gerald Knox; her children, Clarence J. Furbush Jr. and wife Becky, Mickey C. Furbush, Wade A. Furbush and wife Missi, Lori A. Farias and husband Frank, Tammy J. Hood, Kim M. Furbush; sisters Beverly Meunier and husband Gene, Avis Willey, Rosie Wood and husband Don; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews
