She furthered her education at Baker University, She married Gary Alan Morris November 25, 1972 Butler, Bates, MO with Pastor Eugene O. Moll of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church officiating. And to this union two sons were born.
She is survived by her son, Steve Morris of Kansas City, KS; one sister, Marian Poindexter 9Darrel) of Drexel, MO; and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Alex Morris.
