William H. Conn, 62, of Logansport, passed away June 1, 2017 at St Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.

Born on April 19, 1955 in Logansport, he was the son of Clayton C. and Virginia (Hayden) Conn. William worked for CSX Railroad as an engineer.

William enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and used to play for the semi-pro Logansport Lancer football team. He also loved the time he got to spend with his friends and family.

Surviving is his mother, Virginia Conn, Logansport; son, Nathan Conn, Florida; grandsons, Dameon and Caleb Conn, Logansport; sister, Connie Edmisson, Peru, IN; brothers, Roger (Maryjane) Conn, Carmel, IN; Jamie Conn, Logansport; Michael (Natasha) Conn, Kokomo, IN; Jeffrey Conn, Logansport; and four additional grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Clayton Conn.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Shideler Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, June 5, also in the funeral home.
