She married George Henderson in Dunblane on 22 Nov 1761. Together they had nine children. Her family bible was brought back to Louisiana by her son Stephen after her death. There is little information in it other than her name.
She was originally buried in the Henderson plot just outside the main door to the cathedral in Dunblane but in 1831 her son Stephen had his parent disinterred and buried in crypts inside the cathedral.
