After an illness of about 6 weeks, John Toomey, passed away Thursday July 31.
Most of his life was passed in the town of Chesterfield where he married Miss Sarah Elizabeth Fuller and established a home about 33 years ago. To them were born two children, a son, Hubert, and a daughter, now. Mrs. Willis Mussen, both of Keeseville. These and his wife survive him.
He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. John White of Minneapolis, MN and Mrs. A.K. Fahey of Brooklyn; one brother, Frank of Bend, OR.
Mr. Toomey has been a faithful employee of the D&H RR for 43 years.
Funeral services held at Immaculate Conception Church.
