Eliza Claypoole, daughter of James Alexander Claypoole and his wife, Elizabeth Claypoole, neé Frearson, married Rev. William Binning, a Wesleyan Methodist Minister and missionary, on 25 October, 1824 at Kingston, Jamaica. In 1827, due to Rev. Binning's ill health, they returned to England. Eliza Binning died at 13 Duffield Road, Derby, the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Louisa and Benjamin Kent.

Cemetery records state that these people were buried on these dates in plot A17/28679: Hannah Seal xxx (26 Apr 1864 Aged 78) & Eliza Binning (25 Mar 1880 Aged 75). Grave Marker on the plot does not mention Eliza Binning.
