Almond L Adair, 60, of Anvil Block Road, Ellenwood, died Friday in a private hospital.
Mr Adair was a lifelong resident of Clayton County, owned Adair Grocery. He was a member of the Tanner Baptist Church and chairman of the board of deacons.
Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Iris Williamson; two sons, Marion L and Charles H Adair, Atlanta; sisters, Mrs G S Brown, Mrs F B Duffey, Mrs H D Stanley, and Mrs W E North; and two brothers, J C and H V Adair.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Sunday in Tanner Baptist Church, the Rev Kimsey Warr officiating. Burial in the churchyard.
