Harrietta C. Freund, 72, of 1506 Minnesota Ave., North Fond du Lac, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2001, at her home. She was born a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Bernard on Jan. 23, 1929, in Chilton. Harrietta married Gerald E. Freund on Oct. 28, 1948. She worked at Wells Manufacturing for 27 years and was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Freund; five children, Roger (Jackie) Freund, Fond du Lac, John (Patricia) Freund, North Fond du Lac, Barbara (Donald) Hayes, Greenville, James (Lynn) Freund, Rosendale, and Catherine Freund, Fond du Lac; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer and Jodi Freund, Sarah, Matt and Ashley Freund, Nicole Christine and Melissa Hayes, and Jamie and Ben Freund; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Services: A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Mach Funeral Chapel.
