Jensen Funeral

Funeral services for Mrs. Art (Florence) Jensen, 63, of Rt. 1., Hilbert who died Saturday at Calumet Memorial Hospital following a short illness will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer-Weiting Funeral Home, Chilton, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hilbert. The Rev. Anthony Birdsall will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 o'clock this Monday afternoon where a wake service will be at 8 o'clock.

Mrs. Arthur Jensen, 63, of R. 1, Hilbert, died Saturday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after a short illness.

The former Florence Bernard, she was born Oct. 11, 1912 in the town of Chilton, a daughter of Frank and Katherine Tilger Bernard.
On Sept. 6, 1936 she was married to Mr. Jensen at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood. After marriage the couple farmed in the town of Chilton.

Mrs. Jensen was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hilbert.
Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Virginia) Mattfield of Kiel; two sons, Frank and Eugene, both of R. 1, Hilbert; three sisters, Mrs. Melvin Gelling of Kaukauna, Mrs. Raymond Loose of Hilbert and Mrs. Gerald Freund of Fond du Lac, and two brothers, Harvey Bernard of Kiel and Lawrence of Reedsville. Two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral Mass was Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hilbert. The Rev. Anthony Birdsall, pastor was celebrant of the funeral Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
