BANGOR -- Scott A. Weber, also known as Johnson, 33, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Bangor, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at his home.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bangor Chapel, D.L. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Duane Jones will officiate. Cremation will follow services. Memorials may be made to either the Bangor Scholarship Fund or South Haven Area Hospice, P.O. Box 990, South Haven, Mich. 49090.

Mr. Weber was born Nov. 19, 1970, in Battle Creek, Mich. He was a meat cutter at Ridgeway Farm Market. He was a graduate of Bangor High School, where he was very active in sports. He loved hunting.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lynn and Patricia Johnson.

Survivors are his mother, Deborah (Murl) Weber of Bangor; his father, Michael (Sandy) Kozel of Fort Myers; daughter, Brittany Moore of Bangor; three brothers -- Allen (Tracy) Weber of Hampton, Va.; Christopher (Misty) Weber of Lincoln, Neb.; and Christopher (Lori) Kozel of Iceland; two sisters -- Brenda (David) Meachum of South Haven and Stephanie (John) Cagle of Bangor; special girl, Aspen Johnson of Fort Myers; grandparents, Connie and Victor Kozel of Bangor; and Mary Ida and Earle Overton of Bangor; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
