Diana was a 1958 graduate of Bangor High School. Diana had various jobs and vocations over the years but her most rewarding role was that of mother, homemaker, and friend. She was kind, sincere, and humble. As a mother, she graciously and courageously loved her only child and blessed her with the gift of a solid foundation and wings of independence. No matter where her daughter traveled or settled, Diana was the anchor and the place she called home. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Bangor, PA.
Diana is survived by a daughter, Deborah Hill, wife of George Schroeder, two grandchildren Lizelle and Levi Hill, two nieces Tracy Itterly and Jill Hill, a nephew Terry Hill, life companion and partner Richard Bocchino and his children Leia, Donica and Rick, and many close and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by a brother Larry Itterly.
Friends are invited to call 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, August 2nd at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2445 Lake Minsi Drive, Bangor, PA. Private funeral services will follow at the church. Burial will be held at Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield Twp, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA.
