Born in Palmyra on Dec. 22, 1844. Henry E. Miller was married to Margaret Lievan on Dec. 23, 1860. Together they had eight children (two daughters and six sons): Frances, Martha, William Albert, Charles M., Edward H., John F., Oscar L. Two of their children died in infancy, William Albert and Frances. Another daughter, Martha, died at the age of 19. At the time of his death, he was survived by the four sons and three sisters, Anna, Sarah and Louisa all of Dixon, IL. Henry died at his home on the lower road in Palmyra township, IL.
