DAVID DORRIS KILLED IN VIETNAM ACTION
Army PFC David W. Dorris, two weeks in Vietnam, was killed in action, last Thursday. He was the son of Mrs. Diane Y. Dorris, 406 Fourth Ave. E.
Information from military authorities is Dorris was involved in a fire fight when he stepped on a land mine and was killed by fragmentation wounds. Military authorities did not give the location of the hostile action.
Dorris volunteered for service, entering the Army in June 1967. He was a 1964 graduate of Flathead High School. He is survived by his mother and two sisters, Dena and Danneen at the family home, and another sister, Mrs. Diana Slater, Kalispell.
Funeral services are pending awaiting the return of his body to the United States.
